Bart
Bart is a big, slow, easy going puppy.
He’s always got something in his mouth.
Bart loves toys and sticks. He doesn’t feel the rain with his big fluffy coat. His foster family will go for a walk and he will plop down in a puddle without a care in the world. We think he will be a big fluffy shedding slow poke, but really we have no idea.
He likes kids, cats and dogs.
He’s not super motivated but likes food. He comes when he wants and gives his belly instead of cuddles.
Bart is doing well with potty training and kennel training.

Peter
Peter is doing great with everything but he is a BABY!
He still needs to learn everything.
He has started kennel training and potty training is going well. He’s met kids, dogs and cats.
Peter loves toys, loves to cuddle and would love a family.
Peter came to us at 6 weeks old, he was too young to leave his mom and siblings. His forever family will be focused to make him a model good citizen. They will understand the needs of his breed, and needs of a pup this young.
His breed, and being away from his mom to early are strikes against him … the perfect fit will be ready and excited to show him the world, be ready for a baby and training!

Rue
Rue is an incredible pup, sometimes shy to meet new people and she’s true to sight hound nature. She is sensitive to transitions and corrections. Rue goes with the flow, easy to correct and is a happy girl.
When she came to us she wasn't allowed a bed in her kennel because she would shred it, now she can sleep on a bed and this is best for her body. Training took time and making sure she got the correct amount of energy out daily.
On walks she is lovely but has to be reminded not to pull. She’s a gentle giant.
Rue loves dogs of all sizes, playing gently with 8-week-old puppies, to hyper adult dogs. She is able to match her play to her playmate. Rue would love a family with another playful pup.
Rue is keenly aware of her size and her body and does not knock things over or run into people, even tiptoeing around the youngest humans in the house not to bump them.
Rue is going to be stopped all her life by admirers. She doesn't love to be stared at or greeted when she is out and about, but at home is happy to meet all the guests.
Rue is a counter surfer, her perfect home won’t keep food out for her to grab. Her perfect home will understand the needs of XXL breeds.
Please make sure to research this breed before you apply. They have a shorter life span and need a few extra things because of there size.
Because Rue is so large and angular, she needs more cushion whenever she lounges to avoid pressure sores. She currently has 2 golf ball size masses that will take time to go away - no medical treatment is needed, just time and soft bedding.
Rue's perfect family will understand this unique breed, as well as the needs of a sight hound.

Adoption Info
-
Puplandia only adopts within the Portland metro area (within 1 hour of Beaverton, OR).
-
The first thing you will want to do is check out our pups that are ready for adoption. Once you come across a fur baby that looks like it might be a good fit, please e-mail puplandiadogrescue@gmail.com to get an application, with the name of the pup in your subject line.
-
Please know that applications are reviewed with a best fit mentality and are not first come first serve.
-
As we are completely foster based, meet and greets are done by appointment only on approved applications. We do not have a facility that you can go to and meet all available dogs, but we do have monthly adoption events that we promote on our Facebook page and Instagram.
-
We require all of our dogs to be spayed/neutered prior to adoption or in a specific time frame for puppies. We do not allow ear cropping or tail docking and a home visit is required before any adoption can take place.
-
The cost to adopt a dog is as follows:
-Puppy (1 year or younger) $550 Fee
-Adult dogs (2+ years old) $450 Fee
-
The adoption fee ensures that the dog is up to date on shots, microchipped and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. In many cases, the adoption fees do not cover all the costs Puplandia has incurred to get the dog healthy and ready for adoption. All additional medical costs to ensure a healthy pup are covered entirely through donations.
